When furniture brands produce outside the US, the time and energy required to transport each piece contributes to an increased carbon footprint. That's why we've made it our mission to showcase our furniture from high-quality, sustainable American manufacturers. In fact over 90% of our in store collections meet these standards.

In 2019, we launched our furniture giveaway program to support local families, reduce furniture waste in landfills and revive new life into quality furnishings. Since then, we have been able to provide dozens of families with gently used, slightly dented, or newer furniture, that may not be the trendiest fashion, that would have otherwise gone straight to the landfill. Through this program, we have seen firsthand the impact that furniture can have on people's lives.

One particular story that sticks out is of a young child who was sleeping on the floor due to their family's financial situation which is so often found here in this difficult and expensive place to live. Thanks to our furniture giveaway program, this child was able to receive a donated bunk bed and finally have a comfortable place to sleep. It's stories like these that remind us why we do what we do.
